“Two
young women with good credentials are responsible for this charming
video. They've wisely broken it up into the four segments mentioned
above, while giving very practical advice in the process. The
segments flow nicely from new infant to a year old. I'd highly
recommend this video for any new mother!”

“After reviewing
your video, I enthusiastically lend my endorsement! What a fabulous
opportunity for parents to be able to work with their children
through playful exercises.
This will
promote quality interaction between parents and their babies. This
video is a must-have for new parents. What a perfect gift for a new
mother!
With my
experience with critically ill infants, I believe this video will be
essential for parents of infants born prematurely or critically ill.
These infants require more interaction and developmental coaching to
reach developmental milestones in timely manner.
Thank you for
offering me the opportunity to view your video firsthand. I can’t
wait to purchase a copy for all my friends that have little
ones.”

“Finally, a
comprehensive child development program that provides the viewer
with an easy to follow format on a variety of levels. Parenting
skills, developmental milestones, preventative health and wellness
care and the obvious bonding outcomes between the parent and child
are all present in one demonstration. The most beneficial aspect of
these tapes is the initial simplicity of the practical instructions.
Once viewed and mastered, parents can return again and again to gain
the invaluable lessons on handling, communication and the shear
enjoyment of playing with your child and seeing the obvious changes
that take place”

York College of Health Professors Past Director of Occupational
Therapy Programs, Touro College

“These tapes
promote the recently published guidelines from the National
Association for Sport and Physical Education (NASPE) concerning the
encouragement of motion in early childhood. Although it may appear
that sitting up, rolling over, and crawling emerge naturally; these
behaviors are clearly influenced by the parent or caregiver and the
environmental stimulation available to the infant. These simple
tapes offer parents some safe, developmentally appropriate ways of
interacting with and strengthening their infant’s physical
development.”

"Congratulations! I am so thrilled to find such excellent
videos and information available to use with "my babies." I am a
developmental interventionist with Kentucky's First Steps program,
early intervention for birth to three for developmentally delayed
children. I work with a whole team of professionals (OT, PT, SLP, RN
and social workers) to get these little ones up and going. My
background is early childhood education with an emphasis on
interdisciplinary interventions. You have given me a wonderful tool
to use in educating the parents of my little ones. It is fun and
easy to do. I was so excited to have an up-to-date tool to use on an
every day basis. Congratulations for being brave enough to invest in
the future of so many children who are not where they should be
because Mom is not sure what to do and lacks training in even the
basics of childcare. You are making a difference! Thank YOU!

"I never knew
how important early activity was for infants until I adopted an 18
month old baby from China. My daughter (she is now almost 7 years
old!) had spent her entire first 18 months of life confined inside a
crib in an orphanage with very little stimulation or encouragement.
She couldn't sit up or crawl or walk and she only had been given
liquids from a bottle for nourishment. She was non-verbal. I do
think the lack of stimulation early on still has its effects. I
remember reading about sensory integration early on but our
pediatrician dismissed it. However, I am convinced all of the
stimulation and holding that a baby born into a family experiences
from day one are vital. There are so many of us out here who adopted
from the orphanages but once we brought our children home, very few
professionals offered any advice except to catch them up quickly. In
doing that, I think we skipped over very important developmental
areas that children simply MUST experience. Thanks for your
ideas."

"I was so
excited to see the web site (www.weeexercise.com) of Wee Exercise
videos. It came to my attention through an email to the Healthy
Start. They look wonderful, interactive and fun. I run a Family
Resource Center that provides parent support for families of
children with disabilities. We offer parents the opportunity to
borrow important resources, written, audio and video for their
growth as parents. We would love to include your resource in our
library as well as flyers to give to parents who may want to
purchase the resource for their own home library. We will assure you
that they will be viewed by parents of infants."

"The Video is an
excellent tool for Early Head Start..as this program serves pregnant
women and children from birth to age three. It is also not only good
for child development but for setting the habit of exercise to
prevent overweight children. We would welcome older ages..as the
Regular Head Start children from 3 to school age are served in that
program. Your exercise video can also be used as Prevention. I like
the practical aspects of the video series such as no need for
expensive equipment. I look forward to the next series. We have
initiated a program to prevent and reduce childhood overweight in a
Head Start program in Houston. I want to view them for use in our
project."

"I found the
video to be a tool to work with mothers toward the goal of a
healthy, nurturing relationship with their baby. I loved the obvious
delight modeled by both the presenters and the babies in the
video."

"I've always
provided lots of speech and language stimulation for my own children
(as a speech pathologist) but I think your approach is innovative
and probably overlooked by many harried parents who go to work and
come home and put the child in a safe place. Thanks."

"I am the mother
of a seven week old son. All the nurses in the hospital told us how
important it was to spend "tummy time" with Henry but no one told us
what to do with him when he was on his tummy or when he is on his
back. I am so glad your video series came to my attention. Now I
know Henry is getting the developmental exercises that he
needs."

"I just wanted
to take a moment to let you know of my extreme gratitude for the
videos you have created. My daughter was born one month early (sept.
2001) and has been a bit behind in developing. We were referred to a
physical therapist but I did not feel we were getting much out of
it. I had continually been asking if there was a book or video of
things I could do with Lillian at home and had been told no. I wish
I had heard about your videos sooner. I am so excited and thankful
for your videos that I am going to tell anyone who will listen about
them. Even my daughter's pediatrician."
